Cozumel - When I go to ma...Thank you all so much! <br /><br />Cozumel - When I go to make soap, I mix up my lye solution first and then let it sit in front of a fan while I do my other prepping. Often times, it's all ready at the same time but sometimes I do have to wait on my lye to cool. I like it just warm to the touch so that it won't solidify any of my solid oils/butters. For my oils, I melt all my butters and special oils together and then add my olive oil. That cools the rest of the oils down to about the same temperature as my lye solution.
