I went to turn the fan off of the soap this afternoon and low and behold it was ready to cut! The yellow part will turn darker, I don't know if it'll go brown or stop at tan. I adore the fruit loops scent, it's in my top ten. We don't keep them in the house because they are so sugary but they sure do smell good!
Are you kidding me? These are fantastic! The colors are perfect. I need to soap up my sample bottle of Fruit Loops - that's all I have. My girls think it smells like Skittles. :)
ReplyDeleteYum, sounds good! and such pretty colours:)
ReplyDeleteLOVE it!
ReplyDeleteI like very much your soap!!. I dont´t know what do you use to get bright colors on the surfase. I don´t see these never. Can you tell me about these briht materiel?
ReplyDeleteThanks.
Thank you! It really is a fun scent.
ReplyDeleteAmy, I think a bright colored soap would go awesome with a "skittles" scent! Fun! I want to see what you come up with! Do it!
Ana, thank you so much! I used "pop" micas to color the topping. I used more than if I were coloring the whole soap, just because it was going to be on top and I wasn't going to worry about colored lather.
Here is a link to my supplier: http://www.tkbtrading.com/item.php?item_id=503
Thank you for visiting my blog!
That is the prettiest clown barf soap I have ever seen. ;o) You nailed that one. So cute and fun!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for the information. I've seen the website of the supplier. If not too expensive the shipping I'll buy soon, if not I'll have to wait until I have a guy in Dallas to come to Spain in summer. I've loved these micas. If you need something, I'm at your disposal. Thanks again
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun soap! I think the colors go GREAT if the soap smells like fruit loops -a match made in heaven! Nice job.
ReplyDeleteI forget to ask for the name of diamond dust you drop over the pop micas and if the same supplier. Thanks again
ReplyDeleteThanks again! I actually looked up Clown Barf on Etsy and found a few things; one was a really colorful yarn. Ha!
ReplyDeleteAna, the glitter I use is from Brambleberry. It's called iridescent glitter. I use the larger particle one but I think I'd like the smaller next time. I've ordered a different kind of glitter from a different supplier altogether. I'll try to remember to mention it and how I liked it.
TKB also has microfine glitter but I don't have one that doesn't actually have a color, especially a gray hint to it.
Thanks for visiting!
my-oh-my...this is one gorgeous-lookin' soap! love the big ol' ball on the top:D
