I've been working on packaging some of my soaps for a couple of weeks now. I keep working on them in baby steps. I thought I was finally ready to box them up and have them ready to ship when I discovered that the second round of boxes we'd picked up at the post office were too big. The first were too small of course. So now I will need to get to the store to just buy some small boxes.
My packaging and labels are very simple. I haven't researched the proper way to list my ingredients since I'm not selling but I do believe that will be next on my list.
These are my avocado oil soap samples that I am finally getting ready to send.
Looky here! My table is cleaned up and soaping is now possible once again. Maybe tomorrow?

Love it!!! It looks so professional. Great job!
I'm a bit behind on reading blogs, but I see your table looks like mine! (Had to clear it off for company this weekend!) :)
Your soap looks great - the packaging is lovely. Researching the labeling doesn't need to be too painful. It's all in a book already. Marie Gale wrong THE comprehensive guide to labeling your bath and body products (http://www.brambleberry.com/Soap-And-Cosmetic-Labeling-Book-1-Book-P3663.aspx)
