Two New Soaps

Yesterday I finally got the chance to soap again. Firstly, I had to wait quite a while to get all my supplies in so that I could make more. Secondly, we have been doing many outdoor projects on the weekends so my chances to make soap have been few and far between. Everything aligned yesterday so I got back into my 'soap kitchen'.

I made one big batch and split it in two.

I first made Watermelon Taffy soap. I needed to split it and color it so I knew it needed to go first. I did a double-pour with pink and green soap. It's topped off with some glitter of course!

The other part of the batch was more Rainforest Pumice soap. I jazzed it up a bit with color and added a titch of patchouli essential oil but otherwise it remained the same. We found that we really love the pumice soap in the kitchen as it helps to get any food oils/grease of our hands when washing.

I should be able to cut these later today!

They are both beautiful. I look forward to the cut photos. I know when I can't soap for awhile I get withdrawals.

So sparkly!! I'm imagining what the Watermelon Taffy will look like. Did you put a divider in your mold to pour, and then take it out? Looking forward to cut pics!
