Happily Ever After - CUT

This soap just totally represents my daughter and I. We love pink and purple and yellow and all things glittery and cheerful. This scent is so good it almost makes me delirious!

Love your soaps! I just joined and I've been reading all your past blogs and am very impressed with your designs. I read that you use room temperature cold process -- do you make your lye the day before and do you heat your oils at all? Reading on other forums gets very confusing with all the different processes. Thanks.

Thank you all so much!

Cozumel - When I go to make soap, I mix up my lye solution first and then let it sit in front of a fan while I do my other prepping. Often times, it's all ready at the same time but sometimes I do have to wait on my lye to cool. I like it just warm to the touch so that it won't solidify any of my solid oils/butters. For my oils, I melt all my butters and special oils together and then add my olive oil. That cools the rest of the oils down to about the same temperature as my lye solution. You can also put your lye solution in an ice bath to cool it down quickly.
