Salt Bars - The Results

I unmolded my salt bars this afternoon and they turned out fabulously. I'm very happy with the results. The Pink Grapefruit salt bars are exactly how I envisioned them turning out. Yay!

My facial salt bars aren't looking too shabby either. :)

This morning I made a batch of Sweet Orange Patchouli Bastille soap. I infused annatto into the lye solution. I think it worked out great. I can't wait to see what color the soap ends up being.

I think grapefruit and salt just go together! I'll be watching to see your annatto soap cut. I've had some annatoo for a couple years and still haven't tried it...maybe you can inspire me!

Hi! Good-Looking. Wow! Can you tell me what makes your bars "facial" bars as opposed to Body Bars? xo Jen

Thanks Gals! Pink grapefruit and salt definitely do go together. The grapefruit could fade on me but I did anchor it with litsea and that has worked in the past. The only reason why I called those my facial bars is because I added some clay and some essential oils for my face. They are eo's that I wouldn't really want to use on my body but would be fine on my face. Hope that helps!
